Jamie Van Eyck – Miss Jessel Mezzo-soprano Jamie Van Eyck is rapidly establishing herself as an accomplished operatic artist. She has performed with opera companies throughout the United States including Santa Fe Opera, Utah Opera, Opera Boston, Madison Opera and The Wolf Trap Opera Company. For her leading role in Elliott Carter’s What Next? under the baton of James Levine at Tanglewood, the Hartford Courant declared that she “performed beautifully with exacting musical precision and strong charisma.” Ms. Van Eyck recently made her Broadway debut in Jerome Kern’s Music in the Air at New York City Center, and she will perform Dorabella in Cosi fan Tutte and Melanto in Il ritorno d’Ulisse with The Wolf Trap Opera Company this summer. Ms. Van Eyck holds degrees from The New England Conservatory of Music and UW-Madison, where she is currently pursuing her doctorate.   Return to Turn of the Screw artists.
