Madison Opera is proud to present the 11th annual Opera in the Park concert on
Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 8 pm. In what has become a much beloved Madison
summer tradition, Opera in the Park features familiar opera hits, selections
from Broadway, and highlights from the upcoming Madison Opera season.
Performed by the outstanding talents of the Madison Opera Chorus, the
Madison Symphony Orchestra, and some of opera’s brightest stars,
Opera in the Park is a FREE community event
perfect for audiences of ALL ages!
Garner Park opens at 7 a.m. the day of the concert. Blankets, chairs, food and
beverages are allowed.

Run
time: The concert lasts approximately 2 and 1/2 hours, including
one intermission. Garner Park opens at 7 a.m. and closes immediately
following the concert.
Location: Garner Park is located at 333 South Rosa
Road, Madison, WI 53705. View map.
Parking: Free parking is located opposite Mineral
Point Road in University Research Park, as well as off S. Rosa Road at CUNA
Mutual Group. Handicap drop-off is located at the park pathway off of S. Rosa
Road.
