Thrilling. Funny. Heart-racing. Smile-inducing.
Welcome to Madison Opera’s 2020/21 season.
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our season, but we are not falling silent.
We are in the midst of a Digital Fall season that includes performances, discussions, and more.
We will replace She Loves Me with a Digital Winter season that lasts from January to March; details will be announced in December. (She Loves Me will be part of our 21/22 season, so it’s only a delay!)
The Marriage of Figaro is quite simply sublime, a human comedy where the stakes are real, the people are flawed, and laughter and love go hand-in-hand.
At a time when our world feels fragile, these performances are chances to connect with your community, through music and stories that have resonated across centuries and continents, reminding us of our shared humanity.
Please join us to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Madison Opera and the power of opera to reach us at any time and place.
