Health and Safety Information
As the COVID-19 pandemic has evolved, Madison Opera continues to take guidance from Public Health Madison & Dane County and the CDC to provide a safe environment for patrons, artists, and staff.
As of September 1, 2022, these policies are in place:
- We strongly encourage patrons to wear masks while indoors, but will not be requiring them.
- Patrons are not required to show proof of vaccination at any Madison Opera event, whether at the Overture Center or elsewhere.
- Please do not attend a Madison Opera performance or event if you have COVID or are experiencing any COVID-related symptoms. We will be glad to refund your tickets if you are unable to attend.
These policies may change as the season continues, based on public health data and advice. Updated information will be available here on our website and provided in pre-show communication to our ticketholders.
